Reinach, Switzerland, January 19, 2022 – On January 26 and 27, the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance will provide information on current digitization projects of its members as part of a virtual in-house exhibition. The focus will be on a total of ten use cases and implementations, which will be presented by the respective project managers (video/expert talk). Afterwards, interested parties can ask questions about these projects.

The Industrial Digital Twin Association e.V. (IDTA) and the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance announced a strategic partnership earlier this year. At the in-house exhibition, both organizations will provide an outlook on the synergy effects resulting from the partnership and how these can be harnessed for the digitization of industry.

Another focus of the event will be on the winning project of the first Implementation Award, the so-called "OI4 Demonstrator Project", which was implemented by member companies from the process industry at the "Durzaamheidsfabriek" in the Netherlands. The member companies involved will present the project in detail on January 27.

In addition, interested participants will have the opportunity at the in-house exhibition to get to know the strategy of the alliance together with the people involved, the technological basis as well as individual industry working groups. Working groups from the following industry segments will present themselves: Medical & Pharma, Machine Manufacturing, Component Supplier, Process Industry, Intralogistics, Use Case & Go-To Market, Food & Beverage.

The following member companies will present cases and demos at the virtual in-house exhibition: Dunkermotoren, Endress+Hauser, Gebhardt, Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation, ifm, M&M Software, Multivac, UReason.
