Thank You Georg Kube! A Farewell from the OI4

Dear Georg,

as you step into retire­ment, we want to express our heart­felt grat­i­tude for every­thing you brought to the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. You were there from the years 23–25 and helped shape the spirit that still defines the Alliance today. Many of the things that now feel natural in our commu­nity exist because you pushed, guided, ques­tioned, and encour­aged us in the right moments.

Your ability to cut through complexity and focus on what truly matters made a real differ­ence. You inspired people to work together, to stay prac­tical, and to build solu­tions that help the industry move forward. The conver­sa­tions you started, the energy you brought to every meeting, and the clarity you added to diffi­cult topics will stay with us for a long time. One of the first achieve­ments we reached together was the value propo­si­tion for customers and members, which you shaped with us and which later became a strong anchor for the entire OI4 commu­nity.

Thank you for your trust, your steady hand, and your belief in the Power of Many. You leave behind a strong commu­nity that grew with you and because of you.

We wish you joy, health, and many good days in the chapter ahead. You will always be part of the OI4 family.
