Members took
place 1, 2 & 3
Yesterday (3rd of December) at the OPEN Hyper Pitch Day, the top three places were claimed entirely by members of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. A fantastic result that highlights the innovative strength within our community and shows what becomes possible when openness, collaboration and real industrial impact come together.
1st Place: FLECS, Emerson and geminiware – “FLASH: Fast Lifecycle Apps for Smart Hardware”
The winning team impressed with a solution that simplifies how industrial apps are developed, deployed and updated. A clear sign of how software-defined automation is already shaping the future of industrial operations.
2nd Place: Uhlmann Group and Festo – “CoCoGen: Context-Oriented PLC Code Generation”
Uhlmann and Festo presented an approach that automates and accelerates the creation of PLC code. This project shows how combining expertise from mechanical engineering and automation can establish powerful new standards.
3rd Place: XITASO, fortiss, Twindustrial and Festo – “SeSoFitCheck: Semantic Solution Fit Checker”
The third-place team demonstrated how semantic technologies can be used to analyse industrial solutions and match them precisely to engineering needs. A strong example of how semantic interoperability increases efficiency in development processes.
We are proud of our members and partners. Their ideas, commitment and hands-on mindset continue to demonstrate how open ecosystems drive real innovation across the industrial landscape.
Congratulations to all teams — a great day for the community and for an interoperable future of industry.
