1. How did you get the position as board member at the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance and what do you particularly like about the OI4 and its ways of working?
When Nils Herzberg left SAP, I took over his position and now represent SAP as a new board member. What I particularly like about the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is that all members are in practice and have both feet in their business. This experience makes ways of working more concrete, which is a great advantage for us and helps to continue to establish the alliance within European industry as a “practitioner and implementation alliance”.

2. What are your goals for OI4 and how do you plan to achieve them?
The goals I would like to achieve for the OI4 are clearly defined deliverables for members and customers that build on the experiences of member companies. I also want to clearly position OI4 as a “doer” in the association and society landscape. Internationalization is already in full swing and again, I would like to continue to build on this and support European industry to overcome global challenges.

3. How do you plan to use initiatives like the Value Proposition Workshops to drive OI4 forward?
Activities like the Value Proposition Workshops help us to gain a better understanding of what value we really represent for the market. Based on this, we can position ourselves credibly and relevantly in the market.
