We start by demys­ti­fying OPC UA. Instead of going through the full spec­i­fi­ca­tion, we focus on why OPC UA can feel complex and which concepts actu­ally matter in prac­tice for IT/OT inte­gra­tion. The goal is to cover the essen­tials needed to use modern tools and archi­tec­tures without unnec­es­sary detail.

Next, we intro­duce Prosys Forge and its role in struc­turing indus­trial data for IT systems. This section shows how Forge makes data easy and secure to use for analytics, AI, and other digital services, providing a prac­tical foun­da­tion for modern manu­fac­turing use cases.

Modern OPC UA tool get you started very fast (15min)

In this part, we look at exam­ples of modern OPC UA tools and real-world imple­men­ta­tions. We briefly explain their back­ground, the use cases, and their expe­ri­ence on getting started with the imple­men­ta­tion of OPC UA-based solu­tions.

Live demo: from data source to dash­board (20min)

This section is a live demon­stra­tion of building a complete data flow, starting from a simu­lated data source and ending with inter­faces such as MQTT, data­bases, and dash­boards. We show how data is connected, mapped, and deliv­ered to different consumers.

Throughout the demo, the modern user expe­ri­ence and built-in guid­ance are clearly visible, showing that you don’t need deep exper­tise to get started. The aim is to demon­strate how an end-to-end pipeline can be set up quickly and with confi­dence, even by users new to the tech­nology.
