Hi tech & Industry
event recap
This year, we joined forces with our Danish partner SESAM to showcase what open, interoperable manufacturing looks like when two strong communities work side by side. Together with our members, we brought “The Power of Many” to HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia in Herning. People kept stopping because the live robot cell and the UNS setup made it instantly clear how much is possible when both communities team up.

Showcases
Robot Cell with Flight Recorder
by KUKA / Device Insight, Noux Node & S.E.W. North Filtration
Our robot cell demonstrator attracted continuous attention throughout the event. Visitors experienced how a KUKA cell becomes fully data-illuminated, enabling complete transparency of operations. The “flight recorder” concept made it clear: continuous data capture, visualization, and anomaly tracing significantly reduce downtime and sharpen efficiency — without complexity for the operator. Live sessions ran throughout both days and quickly turned into conversations about scaling open, data-driven automation.
Unified Namespace (UNS)
by Tricloud & Rockwell Automation
SESAM showcased a strong and practical UNS setup demonstrating how real-time data flows unlock new levels of manufacturing intelligence.
Across both days, visitors saw:
PLC-driven filling line data streaming into a shared namespace
Live OEE monitoring powered by Tricloud
Secure, MQTT-based data exchange across systems
A concrete blueprint for AI-ready production setups
The time-slotted demo sessions were packed and sparked many follow-up conversations on architecture, scaling, and governance.

is the way to move
Why It Mattered
Across two days, our joint presence highlighted what our ecosystems stand for:
Open collaboration across borders
Interoperability that works on the shop floor
Real demos with real technology
Community knowledge shared openly
The booth became a place where manufacturers, integrators, and technology providers explored how OI4 and SESAM complement each other — and how joint scenarios can accelerate digital transformation in Northern Europe and beyond.
