The OI4 All Members Convention 2026 brought our community together to exchange ideas, share project progress and shape the next steps for the Alliance. Interactive sessions and open discussions created space for new connections, practical input and collaboration across the OI4 community.
At the OI4 All Members Convention 2026 in Frankfurt, the focus was on what matters most to the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance: our community and the exchange between the people who turn ideas into real industrial solutions.
The day brought together members from across the Alliance to look back at what we have achieved, discuss where we are heading and, most importantly, shape the next steps together. Project updates and insights from the community provided the basis for discussions around current challenges, emerging technologies and new opportunities for collaboration.
A key part of the event was the open and interactive format. Breakout sessions, a Fishbowl Discussion and ongoing poster and flipchart discussions gave participants plenty of room to contribute their own perspectives, questions and use cases. Topics ranged from Artificial Intelligence and Software-Defined Automation to digital twins, cybersecurity, digital calibration and other initiatives currently being driven within OI4.
The value of the Convention was not only in sharing results, but in connecting people and topics. Members had the opportunity to find others working on similar challenges, exchange experiences and identify areas where collaboration can create greater impact.
The All Members Convention once again showed what makes the OI4 community strong: bringing different companies, roles and perspectives together, learning from each other and jointly moving industrial interoperability from discussion to implementation.
