The Final Day at the Makeathon

This morning I arrived at the fair­grounds to find the Pilates group starting their morning session under the palm trees again. 🌴 And again… I missed it! 🧘🏻‍♀️

Well, back to our team table, curious to see what happened last evening, while Chris­tian and I went networking at the Spon­sors’ Event. And, as expected, our smart young team members — can you believe the youngest is only 17 years old?! 😯- had found a bril­liantly simple solu­tion. Instead of going through InfluxDB and Grafana, they decided to cut out the entire step and connect MQTT directly to the PCF calcu­lator. A bold move, but it works perfectly for our situ­a­tion!!

Now we are finally able to measure the energy consump­tion of the shred­ding, melting and pressing process! 🎉
