Join us for our full day Security Hackathon/ Workshop on Public Key Infrastructures
In this Hackathon, participants will explore how to apply PKI to secure different layers of the industrial ecosystem, inspired by the Open Industry 4.0 (OI4) architecture.
🗓️ When & Where
May 27th in https://demofabrik-siegen.de/
🤷🏻♀️ What to expect:
A day full of concise insights, intensive hands-on sessions, and valuable exchange with security experts and other members directly on-site. We don’t just want to talk about security; we want to do it! Deepen your knowledge, develop practical solutions together, and actively contribute to strengthening the security aspects in our implementations.
🧩 Planned Topic Tracks:
We plan to focus on highly relevant security aspects in the core areas of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. Initial ideas for parallel tracks include:
- Track 1: Edge Device Security using PKI: How do we effectively secure devices in the field?
- Track 2: Secure MQTT Communication: Securing use cases like Product Change Notification via AAS.
- Track 3: PKI Lifecycle Management: Focus on challenges like certificate renewal & Offline PKI.
🚨 Shape the agenda! Your input is crucial!
This day thrives on your expertise and real-world challenges! Do you have specific security problems from your practice that you would like to address? Are there technologies or use cases in the OI4 context whose security particularly interests you? We cordially invite you to contribute your own ideas, topic requests, or specific problems that we can address in the workshop or hackathon tracks. Your input helps us create an agenda that offers maximum value for all members.
